WHAT IS THE
CHRISTMAS STORE?
Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has been holding the Annual Christmas Store Event in East Garfield Park for over 60 years. Every holiday season, 250 parents, grandparents, and caregivers who are part of our programs are offered the opportunity to participate. Families arrive at scheduled times to shop the selections of donated toys, stocking stuffers, books, games, and stuffed animals. Families can also choose to receive a turkey and side-dish ingredients to prepare a holiday meal for their families. Volunteers staff the merchandise sections, assist shoppers, restock the tables, wrap gifts, load cars, and assist with the food area.

Volunteer
Either to help set up before the event Wednesday 12/13, Thursday 12/14 or Friday 12/15, or at the event on Saturday, December 16th. Sign up as an individual, with friends, with family, with a work, school, club, Scout, sports group! Help us set up the gym, stage tables, sort & organize toys, fill grocery bags, shop with participants, restock items, wrap presents, load cars, and everything we need to make the store “happen!”
